It is the largest flower or popular with "the giant flower". Beside that , the flower is popular with the rotten smell, therefore Indonesia people use to call it "the carcass flower".

The largest flower was named as same as the first founder, Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles Lieutenant Governor of the British Government,and botanist Joseph Arnold, exactly they found this flower at Bukit Barisan mountain slopes.

The flower of Rafflesia Arnoldi is a miracle of rare. This flower need the time to grow until 10 month and it just bloom about 15 days. While the flower is blooming, it usually has a diameter of one meter.

The Oldest Civilization at Lake Toba

The largest lake in Indonesia which located in North Sumatera Indonesia i.e lake Toba is not only give an interest natural view. In Tomok, there are original house of the king Sidabutar. The Batak traditional houses are built with peg system which Wooden rods to interlock with pegs its carved directly on the wood.

Not far from the house is tomb of the descendants of King Sidabutar, and in front of tomb complex stands a large gate with a rich ornamentation carved in red, black, and white. The three colors that became the spiritual symbol of the Batak. In the gate carved lizard is facing four breasts. According to the customary head of Tomok village said that the lizard is mean that the Batak people should be life like as lizard, it mean they can life anywhere and easy to adaptation. Then the breast is symbol of mothers, so that while the Batak people going anywhere they should have remember their mothers and so does their homeland.

The Old Village of Huta Bolon Simanindo

"Huta Bolon" is the large village in local translation. This village had built by King Simanindo. The Huta Bolon located at 20 km from Tomok. Then we see the tombs of King Simanindo and family in line on the road.

If Tomok village built the stone rail to protect the village, but the Huta Bolon built the land rail to protect the village from the enemies. That rail was be planted by a grass over the rail closely. In the village there are two rows of houses were built facing each other. One series is home to the king and his family, while the other is a row of houses barn, home guards, and family room king.

The Oldest history of Batak
It is in the old village of Huta Siallagan Ambarita, Samosir, North Sumatera, Indonesia. In there, before Batak people knew Christian religion, the King Siallagan use to lynch his enemies as a punishment.

The village was surrounded by a wall built of natural stone composition. In the middle of the village, there is a table of stone with stone seats arranged in a circle. That site is called a stone court. It was already more than 200 years old. In the past, before punishing criminals or enemy, King Siallagan and village elders held a hearing on a stone court. After the trial, the enemy or criminals brought to the place of execution which is behind the village.

The place of execution's layout is similar to the stone court. It's just that there is a large rock and boulders elongated shape with a hollow in the middle. Large rock that extends it to lay the enemy king before her body slashed to eliminate immunity of his enemies bodies. After slashed, the head of enemies were decapitated in a hollow stone.

Taman Ayun Temple was built in 1634 by the first king of the Mengwi Kingdom, I Gusti Agung Ngurah Made Agung who have a title Ida Cokorda Sakti Belambangan. These temples are used for praying by the king's family and the followers.

There are some different between the Taman Ayun Temple and the others temple in Bali. While the others temple are oriented to Agung mountain, the temples of Taman Ayun are oriented to Batukau mountain. Although, the  Taman Ayun Temple also has the shades of quiet worship.

Taman Ayun in regional language is "the beautifull park". It's beauty is rised among the temple area of 4 ha and surrounded by canal or pool. If you see them from far, the canals are looked like the water bracelet and the temples are looked like stand on the water. The second part is the main building, the building called "Bale Pelik". This building is decorated by The sculpture, relief, and the statue of Dewa Nawa sanga. Then the others building are for the others Dewa-God-that sacred by Hindu religion.

Beside that, you can enjoy The Mengwi Kingdom heritage which located in 300 metres from the temples. Across the temples is Manusa Yadnya Museum, there are ceremonies show, the ceremony that related with the human life, from born to the dead. The village of Mengwi is located about 18 kilometres from Denpasar -the capital of Bali- towards the northwest side. You can reach the Mengwi with the bus destination Denpasar/Singaraja or Denpasar/Bedugul with the duration about 25 minutes.

Kelimutu ; The Three Colors Lake

The Kelimutu lake, is a paradise lake which also called The three colors lake. Kelimutu lake is one of wonder world which indeed save beauty and mystery. The unique of Kelimutu lake is color change. That changing is because of mineral content, the influence of biota type of moss and rocks in the crater. For local people that the color change has its own meaning. Kelimutu lake has three giant pools or crater which always do color change every year. Water in one of three pools is red and can change be dark green and red- hearts, in other pools is dark green and change to light- green, and in three pools is brown-black to blue -sky. Those three pools are contains Tiwu Ata Polo, Tiwu Nua Muri Koo Fai, and Tiwu Ata Mbupu

Kelimutu lake is located in 3 sub-district i.e Detsuko sub-district, Wolowaru, and Ndona. All of three sub-district are under the auspices of district II Ende, province of East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Kelimutu lake is exactly on peak of Kelimutu mountain about 1.690 meters on sea level. It is about 66 km from Ende, and 83 km from Maumere.

Kelimutu originally combination between 'keli' word and 'mutu', keli is mean mountain, and mutu is boiling. Kelimutu is trusted as dwelling place of human souls. The gate, Pere Konde is trusted guarded by the Queen, The Ruler. Meanwhile, Tiwu Ata Polo is trusted to be the gathering place of the bad guys, and Tiwu Nua Muri Koo Fai as place young people, while Tiwu Ata Mbupu is the gathering place for parent souls.

The colors change, in the middle of 2006 ago, several change mainly happen to two lakes i.e Tiwu Nua Muri Koo Fai, and Tiwu Ata Polo which located more adjacent. Tiwu Nua Muri is previously green in june last year was changed to blue. While Tiwu Ata Polo is previously dark brown changed to slightly reddish. A separate lake, Tiwu Ata Mbupu remain dark green or moss green. However, last December when Updates sector visited the lake, the color of Tiwu Nua Muri is back green, Tiwu Ata Polo became dark blue, and Tiwu Ata Mbupu became blackish brown. Anyway, the colors of Kelimutu lake is a mystery of nature.

The change toward a single color crater lake located on the island of Flores, East Nusa Tenggara Province (NTT), was initiated in December 2008. Tiwu Ata Polo Lake when it changes color from blackish brown to dark green. Followed by the Lake Tiwu Ata Mbupu from blackish green moss to light green.
The color of the two lakes are now the same color as the Lake Tiwu Nua Muri Koo Fai, who early studied in 1915 by BCH MM van Suchtelen lake was predominantly light green.
